W-beam guardrail is one of the most common crash barriers. It consist of a continuous structure made up of interlocked corrugated steel guardrail beam supported by main posts. This design utilizes the deformation of the soil foundation, posts and beams to absorb collision energy, forcing out-of-control vehicles to change direction and return to normal driving path. This prevents vehicles from leaving the roadway, thereby protecting both the vehicles and their passengers, and reducing the losses caused by accidents.

METALLINK can supply AASHTO standard guardrail and accessories for roadside and highway guardrail projects. The beams are coated with a uniform layer of zinc coating or powder coated to prevent weak spots caused by rust and corrosion.
